Mori Sensei's lectures were always very helpful and fun to attend. I never thought I would like learning a language so much until I took her class. 10/10 would definitely recommend this professor!

Awesome teacher, always super bright and cheerful. You'll have a lot of fun in this class if you keep up, but it won't be a good time if you fall very far behind. Nothing is required but effort.

Japanese is the hardest thing to take at Madison. I knew this by the time I took second year with Mori sensei. She was hard, but she cared about teaching us all and knew we were putting in the work. If you show her you are trying, that is as good as full accuracy. She is very well respected and deserves that.

Mori sensei was very helpful and the class was very fun. This class was more like a discussion and lecture put together and with group projects you get along with people in class. She makes you talk and participate regularly so you learn a lot. Gives nice feedback and redo on essays, explains clearly to email and in class questions.

Took over while Geyer was on maternity leave but did a very nice job. She knows how to teach and explain everything perfectly. Quizzes and tests can be a little tricky but you do learn a lot from your mistakes. Just be sure to study dialogues and memorize vocabulary.
