I loved TJ! She was so caring during lab and talked to me when I looked visibly stressed, which made me feel happy that a professor like her cared about her students. Even though lecture wasn't the most exciting, the labs were super fun and you learn a lot through navigating on your own (even if it might feel disorganized).Rate My Professors ↗

Great professor! 100% would take her class againRate My Professors ↗
BEST PROF EVERRRR. Unfortunately I did switch majors from engineering BUT if I had TJ every single semester while I was at UW, I would 100% stay in engineering. Genuinely the sweetest person ever and she feeds us in lab! I would choose her for every single class ever if I could. Maybe glaze. Or maybe I just genuinely LOVE her. Thank you sm TJ!!!Rate My Professors ↗
The lectures were extremely useless, but attendance is mandatory and is taken on TopHat. The lab was a lot of work, but still interesting to complete a project and have an actual client. The class was just really disorganized, and the expectations were unclear for some parts of the final project because the examples would not align with the rubric.Rate My Professors ↗
The lectures for InterEgr 170 may be one of the most useless things I've ever been to. Extremely boring and lacks any sort of life. Attendance is only mandatory because so many people would skip. Overall easy though, the grade really only depends on the group project. I will say I LOVED the lab portion, very fun and engaging.Rate My Professors ↗
