Could not get my engaged in the lecture with the content and style that he decided to go over (talked heavily about the wars and political things). Forced us to BUY his UNFINISHED, MOSTLY INSERTED QUOTES FROM OTHERS, and ONLY used for the sole purpose of assigning homework out of, and could not grade them quick enough for feedback. Was not worth itRate My Professors ↗

Only 3 assignments - 2 were questions that we had to answer by using a textbook we bought from Prof K (his own) to answer (these had to be accurate, or else he would take off many points, without reasoning; book = obscure); rest based on paper; the professor grades the asgs and he takes TOO long so you can't use the 1st asg to help with 2nd.Rate My Professors ↗
Professor Kleijwegt had three total writing assignments for the entire semester, which pretty much collectively make up your whole grade. Questions are written poorly and make zero sense even if you read the text thoroughly. He grades extremely harshly and TAs aren't helpful whatsoever. Lectures have nothing to do with what the class is graded on.Rate My Professors ↗
Kleijwegt assigned three timed online quizzes during the semester. The questions were worded terribly, made no sense, were full of double negatives and impossible to understand even if you'd done the readings and taken notes.Rate My Professors ↗
Superficial and indiffetent to student needs. Very simplistic. Silly quizzes, no meat. Waste of time.Rate My Professors ↗
I thought prof Kleijwegt was great! This was the perfect summer class. I was able to get most of the homework for the week done in like 3 hours on a sunday morning. Super easy. Class was really interesting and the textbook was actually cool. He was very responsive to questions. Great guy in general and I really enjoyed this class.Rate My Professors ↗
