Professor McClure is incredible, and very passionate about the subject. The exams weren't difficult if you did the readings and came to lecture, and important parts of the readings were gone over in lecture anyway. Such an interesting class!Rate My Professors ↗
Prof McClure is SO passionate about lectures, and makes the content engaging and easy to digest. If you do all the readings and attend class, you will do fine, but it is a lot of reading. Because it is a literature class, there is a lot of reading. But, it is worth it to read and the books/literature is good. She has a clear goal for the class and she is caring. She wants you to succeed. Go to lecture and read is all she asks.Rate My Professors ↗
Prof. McClure is so passionate about the material—I'd recommend her and this class to anyone. I loved the small seminar format, which allowed for engaging, critical discussions about interesting topics. Grading was fair, and the comprehensive study guides made me feel that if I put in the work, I'd do well on the exams. One of my favorite classes!
Professor McClure is so kind and a great lecturer. She does great recaps of the reading so even if you didn't read/ didn't read very in depth, if you go to lecture you'll do well.
