About this rating

Raw average: 4.30/5 from 10 quality ratings. The adjusted rating blends this with the UW review average (3.66/5), weighted as 20 additional ratings. Smaller samples stay closer to that average. Each captured review is counted once in the prior; this does not correct who chooses to leave a review.

Professor Cho is absolutely wonderful, and makes every student in the lecture feel seen, and genuinely cares about the topic she teaches. She brought the whole class chocolates after a quiz, and strives to make her students understand the concepts and take something out of class.

Jacee is the sweetest professor I've ever had. She bought our 90-person lecture chocolates TWICE; once for her birthday, and once for finals. She knows every person's name in the 90-person class. If you're new to linguistics, this class is hard but interesting and rewarding. Based on a midterm, a final, and homework assignments that are graded.

Grade based on a few things. Choose your project partner wisely and make sure to attend class. Professor really knows her stuff and is a really kind, understanding person. The lectures are 50/50 on whether or not they're interesting. Study for the tests and know the articles. Overall, a decently easy grader.

Jacee is wonderful. She's intelligent and kind and extremely knowledgeable about her field of study (linguistics). She makes it very easy to learn, and fun too. I didn't do any of the readings for this class, and passed with over 100% by taking careful notes and paying attention in lecture. She offers a LOT of extra credit.
