Dr. Swan is a great professor. She really cares that students get something out of the course. There is a fair bit of reading, but it is a relaxing class. When I picked this class, I really did not think it would be something I was interested in, but she makes it a class that you want to participate in. My TA was also great. Overall, great class.Rate My Professors ↗

Kindest professor ever, she makes lectures super fun (even if the class isn't super difficult). The readings are cool too and we got to zoom with multiple of the authors that she personally knewRate My Professors ↗
This is one of the few classes I have taken where the professor encourages us to think outside of the box and get to know one another. Professor Swan is so caring and genuinely wants to see us do well. There were no major essays so grades mostly came from small canvas assignments/discussions as well as attendance and working on group presentations.Rate My Professors ↗
Professor Swan is definitely the best professor I have ever had. She is so understanding and truly cares about her students. Participation matters, but it is very easy to earn an A in any of her classes if you put in any effort. If you get the chance to take any of her classes, you 100% should. I cannot recommend her enough.Rate My Professors ↗
