Prof. Berson is one of the best professors I've had in college and this is my 8th semester. He is clear, concise, knowledgeable, has a gauge of where the class is for knowledge, gives real life examples, and cares about his students. His lectures are amazing! Prof. Berson is very helpful outside of class and knowledgeable about the subject. Go to his office hour and he will try to help with all efforts. The only issue I could think of is him using sharpies for class notes.Rate My Professors ↗
This class is awful but I think he's trying to improve it. The labs all require a lot of work, but it's pretty hard to get a bad grade on them. He fixed the grading policy so that your grade is no longer entirely dependent on the final exam.Rate My Professors ↗
This is the absolute worst planned class I have ever taken. The TA shows up late to lab and there is zero communication with students. If even five minutes were taken by the professor to plan this class it would be betterRate My Professors ↗
Prof. Berson is the best professor I have had. He is very knowledgeable and does an excellent job explaining difficult topics. He emphasizes having a good technique/strategy for solving problems, which has helped me with other courses as well. He's a genuinely nice guy who cares about the subject and is willing to help you understand it. His lectures are pretty good, and he's very accessible. The textbook aligns with the course material very well, and EES is a lifesaver once you know it.
