ME 361
Quality 5/5Difficulty 2/5
Phenomenal professor, he is very knowledgeable and very good at teaching, best professor I've had at UW Madison. He provides handouts that you can fill out while he goes through the lecture, which are very helpful for taking notes. Additionally, he is very accessible with his office hours or piazza and can effectively clear up any misconceptions.

Tony's lectures are clear, well-structured, and easy to follow. The provided note templates make it simple to stay engaged, and office hours are very helpful for homework. He waits to introduce new material until after exams. Unfortunately, Madison may lose a great teacher if he moves to Milwaukee.

Good professor, challenging course but he actually cares about his students. Will take the time to teach you and is very fair with grading. If you put in effort, he will reciprocate.

Course is structed in a way that office hours are very important to learning if you aren't a good at absorbing everything from lecture. Tony knows this and was very open to stay late in office hours and flexible. He is very positive and truly cares about your education. Truly the goat.

Very clearly cares about his students. Takes pride in his work. Writes out concise, helpful lectures with good graphics for students to use. Very available outside of class. Best engineering professor I've had so far in 2.5 years of mechanical engineering.

This was Tony's first time running his own lectures. He made detailed lecture notes at the start of each class to help guide the lecture. The class was homework heavy with some hard exams but he did everything he could to help you prepare. He stays late at office hours and helps you work through any homework or practice problems. Great professor!
