Professor Tas is a great professor who really cares for his students. The course project is really time consuming, but the content is easy to understand. It is clear what is expected of you for the class and exams. His lectures are directly related to the textbook. Textbook is essential for the final. He is very understanding and easy to talk to.

One of the best professors I have had at Madison. His lectures are set up in a way that flows well during class and is also easy to review. With ample extra credit opportunities, the main focus can be more on learning than on final grade. The course project is also very useful in applying what we learned in class. 10/10 reccomend.

Great guy and professor. Lectures were tough to get through, but if you go to discussion you will understand practically everything you need to know. A little disorganized, especially with the group project guidelines, but gave plenty of opportunities to improve your grade with 10% extra credit on both midterms and 2% extra credit with bonus cases.

He was a good professor. The lectures got boring after awhile because he read off slide shows the entire time, but he did his best to make it engaging. Homework wasn't bad, and the group project didn't take too long. All grading was fair and tests were similar to the practice material. The textbook wasn't worth it, but other than that all was good.

Had him for two classes this last semester, while he seems like a great person, is not a great lecturer - was often unfamiliar with the slides, lectures just went on and on and I retained very little. Took a very long time to get grades back and feedback was often questionable, though that is at least in part the TA's fault. Not the most organized.

I really liked Tas as a person, however, his lectures were really hard to follow, and his tests were confusing.
