Super sweet and kind professor! 525 is very challenging, but she makes the slides clear and logical. Even if it may be hard to get an A due to the (potential) department restriction, you can gain a lot!

Hardest class I took this semester. Do not let the RMP ratings below fool you, if you are not an elite math major, you will not have a good time. Not a lot of proofs, but the proofs are insanely in-depth and you need to know every little detail. HWs take a LONG time to do, and the first exam is brutal. You also need a 95 or higher for an A.

Prof Carla is one of my favorite professors in Mathematics(and Computer Sciences). Her ability to explain the difficult concepts in clear manner is inspiring. And she genuinely cares about the students. The course is theoretical but I enjoyed it a lot because of her clear teaching skills. And yes is super sweet too:))

Prof. Carla is an wonderful professor and have a very strong grasp in the field of linear optimization.The class, was super interesting because of her amazing content delivery and profound insights in the field of optimization. She appreciates student participation and always invites questions during and after class and during office hours.
