Hard to judge her teaching ability from this class; the majority of it is spent listening to speakers with no follow-up assignments. 75% of your grade is attendance and attending events, 25% is a group final project that takes MAYBE an hour. Easy A and Silber does the best she can to make a dull class tolerable.Rate My Professors ↗

Lectures are an utter waste of time, but attendance is required, and nothing else happens in the class. Prof Silber is good, but doesn't teach a majority of the class, guest speakers are brought in most times. No final, homework, or exams, just attendance and one group project. The class is an easy A as long as you go to class.Rate My Professors ↗
I love her!! I already graduated, but she's one of the very few professors that I still remember. She genuinely made me interested in human factors, and she's always super accessible! She gave a lot of real life examples, making the concepts very easy to grasp. Just show up and pay attention to her lectures, and you WILL get an A :)Rate My Professors ↗
I have had Professor Silber for 210 and 349, she has very engaging lecture and provides opportunity for extra credit. She is also very personable and understanding and has given me an extension when asked.Rate My Professors ↗
Caring, understanding, and very nice professor. Fair homework's which were graded easily. Interesting lectures but they seemed to drag on and felt long after you hear her talking for 75 minutes. Very accessible with office hours. 349 has in class activities were are easy and nice to break up the long lectures sometimes. Glad to have her as a prof.Rate My Professors ↗
She was generous with grading and extra credit work. Am giving 3 stars mainly bc lectures weren't very helpful.I felt that she went quickly on things that were more relevant to the homework and exams and slowly on the parts that weren't.For attendance, lectures weren't mandatory; but only 1 absence for discussions even with a doctors note was roughRate My Professors ↗
