This professor is difficult to reach outside of class. She does not post annotated notes (or any notes really) for students. In what is supposed to be an incredibly easy class, she found a way to make it difficult. Tests are predictable, but you essentially have to teach yourself the topics. Graded group reports harshly and docked unreasonably.

The class and homework were easy, and the exams were similar to what we learned in class. As long as you attend lecture and turn things in on time, you should get an A. The group project was easy and informative. The only thing is that I wish she would post lecture recordings or notes after class because her slides are not informative or well made.

Very minimal work outside of class. I would have liked if she posted lecture recording or notes after class to help with homework/quizzes or study for exams. Group project at the end of the semester was not bad at all. Lectures felt boring and dry most of the time.

This class only met once a week, but the lectures were straightforward and aligned with the homework well. The homework is not graded harshly, so if you pay attention in lecture and turn everything in on time, you should have no trouble getting an A. It was a little difficult to reach Dr. Murphy outside of class, but other than that she was fine.

Great professor with clear lectures and fairly simple homework. She also has a decent sense of humor at times. The class itself was pretty simple but very informative on what future CBE classes will bring. Only gripe I have with Professor Murphy is that she doesn't allow computers

Professor Murphy is a very good professor. Attendence is not technically mandatory but highly recommended to understand the complex concepts. Weekly homework assignments and at home quizzes are to ensure you are keeping up. Overall enjoyable 1 credit class. Would take again.
