Introduction to thermodynamics, energy balances, applications to steady state and unsteady state processes, behavior of pure fluids, chemical reaction equilibria.

(MATH 234 or MATH 376 ), (PHYSICS 201 , PHYSICS 207 , PHYSICS 247 , EMA 202 or ME 240 ), CBE 250 , and (CBE 255 or concurrent enrollment), or member of Engineering Guest Students
