About this rating

Raw average: 4.68/5 from 150 quality ratings. The adjusted rating blends this with the UW review average (3.66/5), weighted as 20 additional ratings. Smaller samples stay closer to that average. Each captured review is counted once in the prior; this does not correct who chooses to leave a review.

Pupa's lectures are amazing! She cares a lot about helping students who are unfamiliar with physics, and will slow down to each individual step as long as you raise your hand and ask. Attend lecture even though attendance isn't mandatory, it helps sooo much.

I have to strongly disagree with the positive reviews. I took this class and learned absolutely NOTHING. The others rated her highly is because it is an easy course -- of course if you don't need to any effort into passing this course, you thought the instructor is great. But she is not doing you any good -- you don't learn how to think logically.

Wonderful attitude to learning. Would answer all questions brought up during lectures. Made learning about physics very hands on. Her joy of the subject was contagious.

Pupa is an incredible professor. As a non-STEM major, she made the material very digestible, and it was easy to consult the textbook for clarification, considering she wrote it herself. I found myself actually looking forward to her lectures, and genuinely smiled and laughed during her demonstrations. Would definitely take another class from her!

Pupa is one of the best professors I've had here. She knows what she's talking about and is a super engaging lecturer!

I loved having professor Pupa! Her lectures made me actually enjoy physics! She is a really cool professor that will help you and make sure you understand the concepts for the exams! It is a really easy course for a QR-B requirement!
