MUHAMMAD ASIF

Professor Asif was a great professor. He didn't assign very much homework at all for a 4 credit class, and when he did he would give a good grades to everybody. He says there's required textbooks on the syllabus, but he provides everything you will need. He also does care about how people do in the class and will help you if you ask for it.

He is a knowledgeable and supportive instructor who explains the material clearly and creates a positive learning environment. He is kind, organized, and always willing to help students understand the coursework. I truly appreciated their teaching style and would highly recommend their class. He is easily accessible outside of the class too.

I enjoyed Professor Asif's class and have greatly improved my Urdu skills! He's very caring and wants you to succeed. He is patient with you and works at your own pace. I'm excited for next semester when the classes aren't so early. Participation and attendance are important but that's the only way you can really learn a language. Great prof!!

I started Urdu feeling very nervous, but Professor Asif was great. He really focuses on where you're at with your learning. Approaches the language to help you understand without feeling rushed. Fair amount of homework, but as long as you put in the effort to try, you'll succeed. Probably one of UW's best profs. Only downside is early morning class
