About this rating

Raw average: 4.14/5 from 7 quality ratings. The adjusted rating blends this with the UW review average (3.66/5), weighted as 20 additional ratings. Smaller samples stay closer to that average. Each captured review is counted once in the prior; this does not correct who chooses to leave a review.

Attendance was not required although you needed to be there to complete the weekly case studies. Only one lecture and discussion per week and was mostly online including all the quizzes. There were four major writing assignments which can be tough because grading is all from your TA and guidelines could be confusing sometimes.

Incredibly kind towards her students & tries to get to them and knowledgable about her field of study. Relies on four papers, biweekly module quizzes, and lecture-based case studies once a week. Grade heavily relies on your TA, hope you get a good one. Extremely easy course otherwise.

the most unclear professor i've ever had. every single time i went to discussion to review our assignments, everyone did it differently because the directions never made any sense. her expectations are so unclear. the work isn't difficult, it's just pointless. none of the assignments have clear instructions or provide any benefit to the student.

This was a super easy class, mostly online. All the exams are online. There are a few papers and your TA grades them which is majority of your grade but only meet for lecture and discussion once per week.

Pretty easy class as long as you stay on top of asynchronous work. One in-person lecture and a discussion per week, and the asynchronous lectures are very straight-forward and concise. No exams, just four different writing assignments. Lots of points accumulate over the semester, too. Dr. Williamson is also a great lecturer and very personable!

Dr. Williamson is by far the best professor I've had at this campus so far. She is knowledgeable about her discipline, kind, tries to know people's names, and is excellent at explaining all the concepts: only one weekly lecture and easy online modules. The papers were simple, and the content was interesting. 100% recommend
