One of the best professors I have had at UW. Incredibly passionate about their class and lectures. Made a good effort to learn people's names and encourage a fun environment through demonstrating their immaculate singing ability. Professor Hoyt is, by far, my favorite instructor I've had. He's very clearly passionate about the course he teaches, and wants to share that passion with every student in the class. Eric Hoyt did a great job using examples from media and past students to communicate project expectations clearly. Attendance is taken in lecture, but it does not impact your grade. Textbook readings are not required whatsoever, and aren't very helpful for most of the projects. Everything you need, you can learn in lecture.Rate My Professors ↗
