Joyce is extremely extremely energetic and gives a lot of examples from raising her own children that she calls "mom moments". I thought the exams were somewhat difficult because of how specific they were. Overall, take the class, but recognize that it is not a complete blow off classRate My Professors ↗
I do not understand why everyone is so excited about Joyce. Yes, she is energetic and fun. But... Her lectures are basically about nothing, exams question/choice of answers are bizarre and confusing. Because of that class does exams poorly. However, she adds the points. After that grades come up.Rate My Professors ↗
Excellent teacher! Very approachable and lectures are very fun. Make sure you go to lecture and take good notes. Exams can be tricky but if you go to lecture you can definitely get an A. Also she offers extra credit. One of my favorite professors so far.Rate My Professors ↗

This class was very fun! Joyce is so energetic and hilarious that the lecture is never boring. There are 3 exams, no final, and one paper. As long as you take good notes in lecture the exams will be easy! I definitely recommend this class!Rate My Professors ↗
