About this rating

Raw average: 2.64/5 from 53 quality ratings. The adjusted rating blends this with the UW review average (3.66/5), weighted as 20 additional ratings. Smaller samples stay closer to that average. Each captured review is counted once in the prior; this does not correct who chooses to leave a review.

Do not take this class or with this teacher unless absolutely needed. For a 100 level class it is ridiculously hard and the test averages are always low because it's so dang hard. There's no curve either. There's no reason a 100 level class should be this difficult.

He knew a lot about what he was talking about but because of this, he expects you to know the same amount. You have to attend every single lecture to do well on the exam. The posted class slides will not help you. He goes over the material very quickly. He is very passionate about his work but the material is very niche and hard to comprehend.

This class is taught by a team, and compared to the last professor he took the reins from, all I can say is I miss the old professor. It is very clear each prof teaches entirely their own way so be ready to adjust your study methods fast 5 times throughout the semester. Kenoyer goes through his slides v fast for the UNGODLY amount of info present.
