She puts so much time and effort into each of her students, and you truly feel seen in each conversation and through each question. She is so passionate about what she teaches, and clearly wants to pass on her knowledge of primatology and anthropology to all of her students. I one hundred percent recommend her to anyone interested in zoology.

Strier's lecture are interesting and thorough. You HAVE to do the outside readings and have lots of background knowledge already on primates in order to do well in this class. Overall great class and experince, I really enjoyed having Strier. Homework was thoughtful and no busy work. I will be taking more of her classes for sure in the future.

Professor Strier is honestly one of the coolest professors Ive met on campus. Her classes can be challenging, but in the way that is inspiring and makes you want to dig in deep into subject material to better understand it instead of just giving up. She is receptive to all questions, and always has great stories from her field site to share!

Dr. Strier is an extremely intelligent woman, as becomes evident within the first minute of meeting her. She knows what she is talking about and facilitates amazing conversations in her classes. If you didn't care for primates before her class, you most certainly will after. Be concise with her and know your question before asking it.

Prof Strier is AMAZING. She is crazy passionate about her work in research as well as teaching. She is one of the few professors that I've encountered that actually want to make sure you learn and have a good time doing it. She's super quirky but makes lectures SO interesting and the reading is well spaced and easy to get through. TAKE HER CLASSES.

Dr. Strier is easily my favorite professor on this campus and I am lucky enough to be helping her with her research. She is more than willing to help you understand the material presented in class. She is also one of the nicest people you will meet on this campus. I recommend taking any of her classes!
