About this rating

Raw average: 4.56/5 from 39 quality ratings. The adjusted rating blends this with the UW review average (3.66/5), weighted as 20 additional ratings. Smaller samples stay closer to that average. Each captured review is counted once in the prior; this does not correct who chooses to leave a review.

I loved Prof Clayton! Clearly cares about her students and archaeology. She would give us extra credit sometimes just for showing up (after st paddy's) or answering questions during lecture. Can't recommend her enough. Her class is only based on 4 things, but they aren't super difficult.

Absolute sweetheart. Just exudes good vibes in lecture, super nice. Exams aren't too difficult, and you are given a list of topics to focus on. Only 3 assignments through the semester, clearly outlined and feedback given.

Great lectures, interesting material, very fair tests (she makes it quite clear what will be on the exams). Professor Clayton is kind, knowledgeable, and clearly wants you to learn and succeed. Zero complaints.

Pretty easy class, not a lot of homework besides the readings that are not super necessary but definitely good to know and honestly pretty interesting - 2 papers and 2 exams in the semester

No lecture attendance, but discussions are required. Really great professor, covers material well, genuinely interested in students. Very passionate about the subject. Textbook readings are on the exam, not too detailed. Posts slides at the end of the week but those aren't the most comprehensive to what was discussed in class. Showing up is enough.
