He makes you take the introduction to his course quiz 9 times. It's astonishing how not smart you have to be to think that your class matters this much to anyone but yourself, to make the 34 question syllabus quiz have 9 mandatory attempts, 10 minutes apart at minimum. In Gallimore's class, be prepared to endure unnecessary procedures AND passive aggressive comments. We had to draw random cards that would assign us to a table--a student wasn't aware of this rule and was yelled at by Gallimore in front of everyone. Took this class over the summer and I have to be honest, it was very exhausting and annoying. It was fully asynchronous and there were no exams, but the assignments are all so so tedious. I'm talking having to take quizzes 12 times just to receive credit for them, no matter how well you do. And so many 250 word requirements on discussion boards.Rate My Professors ↗
Dr. G is probably one of the most forgiving and caring professors on campus. There are a lot of assignments, but are graded on completion with the total course being points based. In other words, the available 15 extra credit points is the same as an additional 15 points on an exam. Also records all lectures and says what will be on the exam.Rate My Professors ↗
Overall good. We are given about 3-4 assignments per chapter, but they could be finished months in advance. Lectures were clear, and attendance wasn't mandatory.
