STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS. Completely disobeyed syllabus. Required Textbook that HE wrote. 3 Assignments determined 25% of grade (supposed to be 6). Disobeyed posted class schedule for mandatory in-class assignments (25%). Canvas dates change. Changed in-class exam posted on syllabus and made into 7:45 AM Final for no reason. Lectures are very boring. If you do the weekly readings, quizzes, case studies, etc. you will have enough understanding to do reasonably well on the exams. When he asks for class input just tell him what he wants to hear.Rate My Professors ↗
Grade was split between exams, weekly online reading quizzes, good/bad design examples, and weekly case study analyses. I did not enjoy having John as a professor at all. Thinks students learn one way and that his way is the right way. Made students buy his "beta version" book and then had students edit it for extra credit. Material was boring.Rate My Professors ↗
