Prof Lagman is clearly passionate but does not provide enough time for students to interpret and debate the readings together. Class "discussions" felt unproductive, unmotivated, and far too short. I will say the essays are fun--you can choose any topic relating to course material (which is quite broad already), and she gives great feedback.Rate My Professors ↗

Huge fan. Super relatable, tries to make it easy, genuinely interested in you and the content. Readings are kinda long, but she gets it. Concepts and vocab terms are often very abstract, but if you just go with it it'll be fun & easy. Grading system is contract based, almost entirely up to you if you want an A. Have taken multiple times. Recommend.Rate My Professors ↗
Professor Lagman was one of the most caring professors I have ever had. Some concepts may be difficult, but as long as you talk to her and express your concerns, she will be EXTREMELY understanding and accommodatingRate My Professors ↗
Eileen was awesome! Her class really expanded my understanding of language and rhetoric in ways I did not expect. She's super caring and accommodating, and really makes an effort with every student.Rate My Professors ↗
