Dr. Wood was a wonderful professor and the sweetest person. She cares deeply about the course material and her students. I absolutely love Dr. Wood, she's very knowledgeable and passionate about the texts she's assigning and about her students. She does sometimes encourage an echo chamber but she facilitates interesting and insightful class discussions that help with understanding the poems we read. Dr. Wood is amazing and I can't recommend her highly enough. I took her Climate Crisis Literature class and she is an amazing person and professor. There is a lot of assigned reading but it's all very engaging- just make sure you make the time for it!
