Christina is extremely knowledgable in the field of ceramics, however she is not a great communicator. She was near impossible to reach outside of class, and lacked understanding and empathy towards students. She often was overly critical of students work, even to non-art majors in their first studio course.Rate My Professors ↗

Professor West is a skilled ceramist and solid teacher who pushes students to think outside the box. She can seem intimidating at first, but she's actually pretty chill and grades fairly if you do the work. I just wish she connected with students more, like other ceramics professors do, because ceramic courses are usually very collaborative.Rate My Professors ↗
