Professor West is a skilled ceramist and solid teacher who pushes students to think outside the box. She can seem intimidating at first, but she's actually pretty chill and grades fairly if you do the work. I just wish she connected with students more, like other ceramics professors do, because ceramic courses are usually very collaborative.
