Professor Kaspar is awesome. Good lectures. Course will prepare you for work in the food industry, practical and interesting information. Best advice is to attend lectures.

Come to class and you will do well. Exams are challenging but in-class and take-home assignments help your grade. Experience in food industry and FDA. Knowledgeable. Good lectures

He's willing to help if you reach out, but he definitely tries to make the class difficult. I've found it more difficult than Bio 151, Biochem 501, and Micro 301. It's a very interesting class and his teaching partner makes the class fun but it's definitely a harder class than it should be.

Clearly an expert in his field and good at drilling into you the most relevant topics. Exams can be a bit tough but with the in-class assignments it's not too difficult to get a good grade. I took this with micro 101/102 as my pre req and did just as well as the students who took 303/304. His teaching buddy Adam is hilarious and a great lecturer

good lecture, learned alot in class, however, he doesn't give much study material for exams, so you don't know what to expect. He's really brief when discussing completed assignments and exams.
