If I could give 0/5, I would. The class was poorly organized, expectations were unclear, and I felt like I had to teach myself most of the material. Overall, this was a stressful and disappointing experience. I would not take another course with this professor.Rate My Professors ↗

While I found this content very interesting (comparable to Child Development) I found the professors policies to be harsh. In addition, the lectures were sped through so it was extremely challenging to get all the information down.Rate My Professors ↗
Pt2: the extra credit assignments are only for missed attendance or discussion posts. Unless you REALLY need to or just love social development, I would NOT recommend this class. It's not engaging or really that interesting. You have to put in a lot of work, but really only get half the output. Save yourself some time and take a different depth.Rate My Professors ↗
Part 1: While Professor Jordan is very kind and knowledgeable, her lectures are not good. She flies through the material while reading a very wordy script. To really understand the material you must go back and watch the lecture videos which can be VERY time consuming. There are extra credit opportunities, but...Rate My Professors ↗
Professor Jordan was an efficient and engaging lecturer. She goes fast but posts lecture videos if you miss anything and offers time for questions at the end. Exams were multiple choice and short answer and focused a lot on research study content that is covered in lecture. Make-up assignments are available if you lose points. Would recommend!Rate My Professors ↗
I liked Professor Jordan. Lectures moved quickly but were interesting and efficient. Exams and lecture content were very focused on research studies. Expectations are very clear and rubrics for every assignment are available. She even offers assignments to make-up lost points.Rate My Professors ↗
