His test questions are easy to understand and his exams are fairly easy. He is a good lecturer and helps break down the complex aspects of hormones and the brain. He is also really sweet and is pretty engaging.Rate My Professors ↗
He sometimes flies through dense/difficult course content, but would often end lectures 10-20 minutes early so it wasn't too overwhelming. His tests are very fair, and he is definitely very caring. I would not recommend taking this course if you are not a neurobiology major. The class is far more biological than any psychology class I've taken.Rate My Professors ↗
Loved this course! Anthony can move a little fast during his lectures so you make sure you're taking notes. Three big exams are each 25% of your grade. Exams were a lot easier than I expected since the course materials were pretty heavy. Overall, lots of memorization but interesting topics. WATCH THE REVIEW VIDEOS FOR EXAMS! I absolutely loved this class. Multiple topics were brought up that were never even mentioned in other classes I have taken at UW, and there definitely was evidence used to support his claims as this is what we were tested on! A lot of the topics in this class were presented without evidence.The professor would often make bold claims and then present graphs that didn't support his stance or present a graph then say "but I actually disagree with that".The class was easy to pass and Professor Auger seems like he cared about his student.I just didn't learn anything.Rate My Professors ↗
He's a really nice guy, but he wastes a lot of time explaining that he doesn't want to offend anyone when talking about sex/gender. I'm not conservative by any means but his lectures can be politically charged to the extreme-- he makes bold statements about transitioning (especially for children) with little evidence to back them up.Rate My Professors ↗
