Avoid this professor at all costs!!!! He will falsely accuse you of using AI and nothing will be done to help you. There are few assignments and each one is graded very harshly with many points being taken off almost every assignment. I am appalled that his behavior continues to be tolerated when he continues to do this each semester.Rate My Professors ↗
DO NOT ENROLL!! Expectations for assignments and tests are convoluted and difficult to meet. He accused many people of using AI with no evidence aside from a few simple words. His exams are nitpicky and the "lectures" are just readings. Do not take this class if you value your GPA or sanity. It is not worth the online/asynchronous structure.Rate My Professors ↗
RUN! This professor is verbally abusive.He WILL accuse you of using AI on simple assignments and take you to the dean. he only tests on only very specific details.He will do 80% deductions over simple errors. He will release your name and email to the class if he suspects you used AI.This seemingly easy online class will TANK your GPA. AVOID.Rate My Professors ↗
He will send you a threatening email claiming you used AI even if you didn't. His proof? Nothing except a few words he deems AI must've written. You are required to either take a 25% on the assignment or meet with him during finals week to defend yourself. Nit picky exam questions and can't be reached by email. BEWARE!!!! Never in my 4 years of college have I been accused of AI misconduct. Treves accused the majority in a large online class of AI usage, threatening report to the Dean. We have a 2-hour window during finals week to make a statement on a "first-come, first-served" basis. Unbelievable behavior from a seemingly knowledgeable professor.Rate My Professors ↗
I have high hope for this class, but assignment is unclear, grading was harsh, and AI is banned like it is back in the stone age.
