About this rating

Raw average: 1.00/5 from 4 quality ratings. The adjusted rating blends this with the UW review average (3.66/5), weighted as 20 additional ratings. Smaller samples stay closer to that average. Each captured review is counted once in the prior; this does not correct who chooses to leave a review.

EMA 303
Quality 1/5Difficulty 4/5
The worst professor I have ever had. His accent is completely incomprehensible, and his handwriting is somehow worse. Clearly does not care at all about teaching. Rushed through the content at an insane speed, scribbling all over the notes and taking no time to actually teach anything. I went to the other professors lectures. Avoid at all costs.

Professor Li just did not show up to class the majority of the time, and his TA had to take over (they tried their best). Would recommend taking another professor if possible.

His English was terrible, he didn't spend time preparing materials for us, and even 40% of the lectures were given to his ta. He didn't seem to care about what students could learn, and the students in his lab seemed to feel the same way, and many of them left.

Professor Li has a very thick accent that makes him impossible to understand. He was condescending in lecture and his handwriting was illegible. He only came 60% of the time, otherwise a TA would step in to teach, and we were never told why. I started watching recorded lectures from the other professor. Do not take Mechanics of Materials with Li.
