About this rating

Raw average: 1.00/5 from 6 quality ratings. The adjusted rating blends this with the UW review average (3.66/5), weighted as 20 additional ratings. Smaller samples stay closer to that average. Each captured review is counted once in the prior; this does not correct who chooses to leave a review.

Dr. Wang first time taught this course but he could have done better by trying to understand the materials before the lecture. It seems the previous offering from the other two professors did a better job.

Wei wang has an accent that is very difficult to understand during lectures and makes frequent mistakes. Lectures, mandatory readings, and labs rarely align, leaving students often confused and wasting time. He tried to make lectures mandatory mid-semester and received much backlash, so he stopped posting annotated lectures. decent grading scale

Actually the worst professor I have ever had. Lectures are unclear and never align with labs or homeworks. No one every knows what is going on. Grading criteria is also super unclear. Anything I learned from this class I learned on my own.

Lectures for this class were completely ineffective. Supplemental reading and outside resources were the only things getting me through each week. Labs are tedious and disjointed compared to the material. Spent far more time outside of the required credit hours preparing for exams. Overall a much more obnoxious class than it should have been.

Strong accent and uses the wrong words.25% of what is written during lecture is incorrect. Tries to cover way too much in lecture and tries to compensate with 3-5 reading assignments per week. Labs and homework don't correlate to lecture. Never looks at lecture slides before coming to class. Attendance was so bad he had to make it required.

Wei does not know how to teach. His accent is thick, he just writes equations on the board with no explination from where. Very bad at algebra in lecture. Readings due 3x week. Nobody was attending lecture because he couldn't teach, so he just made it mandatory and changed the syllabus. DO NOT TAKE CLASS WITH HIM
