About this rating

Raw average: 4.50/5 from 8 quality ratings. The adjusted rating blends this with the UW review average (3.66/5), weighted as 20 additional ratings. Smaller samples stay closer to that average. Each captured review is counted once in the prior; this does not correct who chooses to leave a review.

Professor Li first semester and she was awesome! One of my favorite professor at UW Madison. Her notes are awesome! She is so kind and really cares about making sure her students understand the content! Exams are straight forward. She is always quick to help although, I do wish she knew EES since all the assignments are EES... this is okay!

Professor Li is one of the best professors I have had at UW-Madison. Content was incredibly well-explained, and the lectures were super engaging. The course is rigorous, but she made the concepts very understandable and provided interesting examples. Would definitely recommend her class to anyone taking 364.

Dr. Li is supportive and organized. The summary cheat sheet she prepares for us before exams helped a lot.

Li is very involved and passionate. There was attendance every lecture and discussion, but multiple drops for attendance, homework, and discussion assignments. The assignments were EES heavy, which was difficult to translate to written exams, but exam questions were broken up into a-f guiding you through the problem and giving room for error.

Professor Li is very involved in the class and actually shows up to discussion sessions, which is really helpful. She answers questions one-on-one and explains things in a way that makes sense if you're stuck. She's patient and never makes you feel bad for asking questions.

The course is rigorous, but fair, and she really cares about students understanding how the material connects to real engineering applications. If you put in the effort and ask questions, she will absolutely help you succeed. I learned a lot and would recommend her class.
