Outstanding professor. Extremely caring--Will bend over backwards to help you understand the material or to help with your overall education. Close connections with the "real world" of manufacturing allowed us to see mfg theories in actual practice. Might well be the best prof. the U of Wisconsin has to offer.

Examples are classic but cannot relate to today. Then he rushed the actual theory that is timeless. He should not be teaching this class.

Teaches well; but has no industry experience and lives inthe 80's; grading fair' slightly egoistic and thinks he is the king in the manufacturing world

Prof has no industry experience he tries to preach the stuff that is so old that you won't find it in contemporary books. Courses have no practical relevance. If someone has come to business school for learning theory this is the course and this is the professor. If however you are looking for pragmatic approaches better look somewhere else
