Dr. Bose is clearly a leading expert in her field and cares about her work. However, because she's such an important researcher, she was often gone to work at CERN The material itself is extremely dense. However, because there's no homework, you can sort of teach yourself enough to do well on the essays, which were graded pretty lightly.

Dr. Bose gave good lectures and had fun demonstrations.

She is a great professor who explains things nicely. However this course is simply horribly designed so that no professor could really save it

Physics 207 is a tough course but Tulika was really good at explaining the concepts in lecture. If you want to do well you will have to put in a TON of work though. Take advantage of TA office hours and study groups.

Prof Bose is a pretty good teacher . She explains things well in her lecture and encourages you to meet with her one on one of you are struggling . Aside from that I would say this course is pretty challenging , especially for an introductory physics course . If you want an A you have to work for it pretty hard .

I took her online because of COVID, but I think she was SUPER prepared for it. You do a lot of work tied to the textbook, but I think she gives out a lot of points and you get to drop the lowest quizzes, homework, and lecture attendance. She is really nice and easily approachable. Physics is already a hard class, but she helps a ton.
