Definitely the best physics professor I've had so far at UW. He made content digestible and gave step-by-step explanations for problems. Tests were incredibly reasonable and realistic. He never used the word "trivial" when explaining something, and he has fair expectations of his students. I wish every professor could be more like him.Rate My Professors ↗
Very good professor. The homeworks are mostly from the textbook with one or two he made himself. Midterms are similar to the HW. No final exam, instead an easy final project that helped a lot of our grades. It took a while to get grades back although that was mostly the TA, not him.Rate My Professors ↗
Lectures go through a lot of content and homeworks are hard and long but this course is well structured under this professor. You will learn a lot.Rate My Professors ↗
Prof. Kuzmin is very kind and he clearly cares about students and their questions. Due to the size of the class and only 1 TA, feedback was heavily delayed but grading was very generous. If you are attentive during lecture and do some practice, exams will feel fair and balanced. The exams cover the most important topics in the class.Rate My Professors ↗
Content was tough, and exams were not easy. He gave 50% back for correction though, so it wouldnt be too bad.Rate My Professors ↗
