Very interesting lectures and she is very knowledgeable. Exams are tough but if you attend class, you will do fine.

One of the witchiest professors I've ever had. She once downgraded me because I had capitalized a word in the title of my essay. If you do anything wrong at all ever in that class, you'll be doomed for the rest of the semester. Also, she assigns a ton of homework, but we don't do anything in class. Unfortunately, attendance is mandatory.

I loved this class. Linguistics is my favorite aspect of Spanish. Prof. Harrington had great PowerPoints that explained everything you need to know. This class greatly improved my Spanish accent! Doing IPA transcriptions was actually pretty fun. Tests are very fair - I was always prepared for the tests by doing homework and doing some studying.

Prof Harrington is an excellent teacher. Make sure to print out her lecture notes before class so you can follow along. The exams are easy since she gives you a clear outline of what exactly will be on them. I will be taking future classes with her!

I loved this class. Professor Harrington is a great and clear professor. There are only 3 exams, 1 quiz and 1 final project, so the class is not terribly difficult or stressful. It is clear that she enjoys her job, she is always in a good mood and open to any questions. I plan to take more classes with her, she is wonderful!
