RUTH LITOVSKY

I loved this class (although I am a CSD major)... Litovsky is an incredible figure in this field and loves the material she teaches. She was available after class to answer questions and wants you to succeed. Only 3 tests and few quizzes so going to lecture is very important. Extra credit is available

Professor Litovsky is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about her field, sometimes I can go over students heads. I would NOT take this class if you are not a CSD major. It is easy to get extra credit and get an A because of it, but it is time consuming. Tests are difficult and there are quizzes almost every week that require a lot of prep

I loved this class! It was super interesting. Prof. Litovsky such a nice person, and if you ask for help she will help you. The only one problem that I had was that she has no office hours so it is sometimes hard to talk with her if you have a class before and after her class. Otherwise I totally recommend her when you need to take 202.

She's nice and helpful but my only gripe is that her test and quiz questions are worded confusingly. Often they are quite ambiguous. Going to discussions is in my opinion more practical than lecture since you can practice the material you need to know. Textbook I found to be not necessary.

The final basically has the exact questions from the previous midterm!

Prof. Litovsky is perhaps the best biology professor you can find in UW Madison. She offers tons of extra credits (Total 36 points towards 400) and clear exam guide for students. So this class won't take too long for you to study (a couple of hours before exams). Has to take Prof. Litovsky if she's teaching. :)
