About this rating

Raw average: 4.88/5 from 8 quality ratings. The adjusted rating blends this with the UW review average (3.66/5), weighted as 20 additional ratings. Smaller samples stay closer to that average. Each captured review is counted once in the prior; this does not correct who chooses to leave a review.

Amazing, could not have asked for a more caring professor to teach a subject she is truly passionate about.

Dr. Goldstein was a fantastic lecturer for GWS 533. The class is simple yet effective, you end up learning a lot that you can take with you broader than just topics in botany! You also get out what you put in, and that means reading the readings, which can be a lot, but are very interesting!

GWS527 is a no-stress class. Ruth fosters a very caring, inclusive environment and is quite passionate about GWS issues. As long as you do the few assignments and weekly quizzes, you'll easily get an A. I got lost sometimes in the content, as there are SO many words on her slides that make them hard to follow. Overall, recommend!

Prof. Goldstein is very caring and fun to learn from! Her GWS 103 course is very easy, yet super interesting with plenty of opportunities to learn more (such as optional readings) if you're interested in the content. Highly recommend both the course and professor!
