Rena is an absolutely wonderful teacher! She is funny, respectful, and kind and will make you love dancing. Totally doable for someone who has never danced in their life. Also, she brings snacks and treats and tells really inspiring stories! Take her class!

She seemed kind of scary at first, but she was overall a great teacher who really cared and ultimately wanted everyone to succeed and feel safe. If you have never taken a dance class and just want to learn how to dance while also having fun, I would recommend her!

Dance 101 was so much fun with Rena! Absolutely recommend. Classes are so fun if you actually participate and she really cares about her students, plus when she goes off on a tangent the stories she has are so engaging. Only bad thing is you need to go to 3 outside dances but swing club and red rock line dancing are fun to go to with friends anyway

DANCE 133
Quality 4/5Difficulty 1/5
Rena was a fine professor. The class itself is cool since you get to learn about different relaxation techniques and have time to relax in class, but it's very disorganized. You don't know what reading corresponds with what week and you have to record yourself relaxing for 5-10 minutes twice which is awkward. But, it's a fun, easy one-credit class.
