Professor Choy was a great professor, and had a strong personality focused on creating a community in the classroom, thoughtful reflection processes, and showing appreciation. Yes, attendance policies are strict, however it is essential to show up for a dance class. If you show up and do your best, you will be rewarded for effort.

Worst professor in my four years. Completely condescending; more focused on asserting herself as an expert than teaching. Actively discourages participation through her stubborn, unenthusiastic demeanor. In-class instructions are unclear. Posts assignments late w/o changing the deadline. Uninspiring class discussions; shuts down students' ideas

awful. disrespectful to students. plays favorites. got a zero on an assignment, she told me to redo it for credit then never graded it. the class itself is kinda interesting but she makes it WAY too much work. terrible at communicating assignment details, so inconsistent, then gets mad at the students when they dont do it the way she wants

The worst professor I've had in four years. Her grading is inconsistent, and directions are vague, leaving students confused. She penalizes students for leaving class early but leaves early herself. Her lectures are poorly organized, repetitive, and unhelpful. Overall, an incredibly frustrating and unfair experience.

I loved her class and it was easy to get an A. Instructions can be unclear at times so make sure you ask if confused. Sometimes forgets to update or post assignments on canvas ahead of time. Harsh grader on written assignments. Dance unit tests are easy if you practice. No written exams. Put in the work (sometimes a lot) and you will succeed in 319
