English 242 is a pretty easy survey class. I'd imagine it's pretty difficult not to get an A. She is pretty funny when she talks about her personal life and always finds interesting ways to talk about the books/stories/poems we read.Rate My Professors ↗

I love Monique! She has such a vibrant, lovely personality and teaching style! She's incredibly enthusiastic and you can tell she loves what she teaches. She can go fairly quickly with presentations but she's always available in office hours or after class. I highly recommend this class!Rate My Professors ↗

She is a very sweet professor who I can tell cares a lot. Her style was just not good for me. There were so many readings that were often never talked about, and the assignments were pointless and did not relate to the class. Also, our final assignment was to make a movie, which was silly because it was an English class, not a film class.Rate My Professors ↗

Monique had all of her lesson planned out and was willing to restructure the class to fit what the students found interesting. Additionally Monique is very responsive and is willing to meet outside of class or help seek additional resources. Monique is interesting to say the least. She is a very good lecturer and very intelligent. She also was willing to meet with me various times outside of class and offer me feedback. She is a little abrasive, but that's just her personality. If you give her the chance, her class is amazing and I would definitely recommend to any English major.Rate My Professors ↗
