Exams were unnecessarily difficult; she never actually taught anything in lab, we learned everything from the lab notebook, and then got quizzed on it every lab with a pre-lab quiz. Very unhelpful when asking questions, and it made every answer seem obvious.Rate My Professors ↗
Professor Rondon is nice and knowledgeable; however, her quizzes and exams are way more challenging than an introductory course should be and are often unfair. There is very little additional material to help prepare you for exams which consists of a lot of fill in the blanks (with no word bank), short answers, matching, true/false, math etc.Rate My Professors ↗
I really enjoyed Microbiology 102, but honestly, her exams were written very unfairly. All of the questions on the exams were ambiguous, and the preparation for the exams was nonexistent. The materials given to "prepare" for lab were utterly useless and confusing. Also, she talked down to students every time anyone had a question in the lab.Rate My Professors ↗
Needed .7% more to keep my guaranteed spot in Pharmacy School and she refused to help me at all. I begged to do extra work, revise work etc and she said no every time. Normally I would understand this in the interest of fairness but her grading criteria is never clear and she finds any reason to take away points, do not recommendRate My Professors ↗
