He's awesome. Super clear and concise lectures and truly the nicest guy. Although tests are the only grade, his lectures make difficult concepts easy to understand and study, making the tests super easy. Super accessible via office hours and emails as well. Best prof I had in my 4 years at UW. Lowkey miss this classRate My Professors ↗

You're only graded by a few exams, but Matt makes this course sooo much more welcoming and accessible. Do NOT fall behind on material and actually take him up on office hours and asking questions. So kind and passionate.Rate My Professors ↗
The subject is a super difficult one but his slides and explanations make things so much easier to understand. Tests cover a lot of info but questions are pretty fair.Rate My Professors ↗
Class requires a lot of studying but Matt presents the material the most clear, concise, digestible way for truly difficult material. He's more than available for help and genuinely just one of the nicest people ever. Take the class if you can!! It's super interesting and Matt is great.Rate My Professors ↗
Genuinely one of the best professors I've had at UW. He's super accessible and is willing to work with you at anytime. For the course there are 3 lectures (including Professor Reynolds) and he is by far the best lecturer. The class has a lot of hard content, but he does a good job in breaking the complex concepts down.Rate My Professors ↗
I loved Dr. Reynolds, but 528 is a HARD class. Lectures are very dense and the whole class is graded on just 3 midterms and a final exam. However, Dr. Reynolds holds office hours (and brings candy), and is very good at explaining concepts in a smaller setting. Also very responsive to email and understanding of student situations.Rate My Professors ↗
