Prof. Muniagurria truly has a passion for economics and tries to share it with her students. Her notes are handwritten and I'd recommend you handwrite your class notes, too. This class is not really suitable for laptop notetaking, but I learned a lot this way. Attend regularly! Homework and exams are very fair.Rate My Professors ↗

Her lectures are incredibly boring and she is impressively slow. What she completes in a 75 minute lecture (in terms of notes), most students can complete in 10-15 minutes from her online notes, which I did once I stopped showing up after the second week. If you understand Econ well, problem sets and exams are not too difficult.Rate My Professors ↗
You'll probably get stuck taking this class - super boring and theory heavy, all lecture notes posted online so you don't have to go to class, but boy is it hard. Not particularly worse or better than any other Econ prof, but you'll need to be familiar with how to solve/derive models in a million different ways.Rate My Professors ↗
If you're an econ major you may be stuck taking 464. If possible, I would advise to find another professor. Her lectures make no sense and all of the notes are very scrambled. The tests are pretty identical to the homework, but make sure to actually understand the homework and not just memorize (she switches things).Rate My Professors ↗
Maria is one of the nicest professors I've had. The class is very theory heavy but it makes understanding the math really easy. I personally found her lecture's pretty interesting and she's made me love international trade. There are 3 exams, 6 homework assignments, and a trade report. If you understand the homework, the tests will be a breeze.Rate My Professors ↗
Lectures are a little disorganized, but the math is not difficult for this class. Problem sets (about 4 of them math-based and 1 about a reading) were fair and not hard. Exams were the same way. No final. 2 reports on trade disputes and then a group presentation.Rate My Professors ↗
