Professor Carlson gives clear lectures that are great for taking notes. The tests only grade off of the lectures so super easy to study for. She is quite helpful and willing to help in hard situations. Heavily suggest taking her for a class.Rate My Professors ↗

This class was pretty easy and interesting. I learned a lot about family life, and lecture attendance isn't required. We did have a textbook, but you don't need to read it to understand the content.Rate My Professors ↗

This class was super interesting and really easy. TA was difficult to get in contact with but that was the only downside. Overall such an amazing professor and really cares about her students!Rate My Professors ↗

She is super nice and helpful. Overall, the class is fairly easy as everything on the exams is taken from the lecture notes. No need to read the assigned material, everything in the chapter is covered during lecture.Rate My Professors ↗

This professor was fine. Didn't find lectures super engaging or interesting. It's a good class for a sociology credit but the professor just reads off of the slides. Lectures are posted and attendance wasn't mandatory so it was easy to do well. Exams are very fair and reflection papers are easy as well.Rate My Professors ↗

I absolutely loved this class. Professor Carlson was so caring and super approachable. You are graded on a few written reflections, five quizzes, and three exams (including the final). I would absolutely take one of her classes again.Rate My Professors ↗
