This class is inundated with a ridiculous amount of work for 3 credits, the most egregious being the 20 SINGLE SPACED pages of essays you have to write for the final "exam". The class is a lot of regurgitating the textbook she wrote (and made us pay for), and her grading comments are passive aggressive and jab-like. Stay away w a 6 foot pole.

Supposed to be a relatively easy 3 credits for non-science majors and Graham makes it hard as hell for no reason. The class was supposed to be weekly online quizzes with one lab per week. Instead, without putting it on our schedules (some people had to drop), she set up a time for in-person quizzes that were about long readings. DONT TAKE IT

The worst course I've ever taken. Basically this course is about to get all the textbook read. No lecture at all. More than 50 pages of reading per week and a quiz of cherry-picking questions that sabotaging your grade. Nice TAs, but there's nothing they can do to help you get into this course and have a nice grade. AVOID THIS COURSE AT ALL COSTS!!

She get's the bad grade because she clearly only teaches the class to sell her textbook that she forces you to purchase. I got the gradfe that I wanted, but I had to work far too hard for a 100 level course. I spent at least 25 hours of week on a 100 level botany class to get by. DO NOT TAKE. TA's are perfect tho, love those guys

Straight up, just do not take this class with Dr. Graham. She's very egotistical and goes out of her way to retaliate against students that hurt her ego. By that I mean modifying quizzes with irrelevant material to sabotage students' grades. Pathetic excuse of a professor.

Professor Graham reads the textbook in lecture. She is very passionate about Botany, but does not teach very well, or at all for that matter. This class was required for me and I wish they had another professor teaching it because Professor Graham was terrible. Beware of weekly quizzes on Fridays and no exams.
