ENVIRST 215
Quality 1/5Difficulty 2/5
Interesting and valuable topic that drew a lot of different kinds of students. Found her teaching to be disorganized, using outdated concepts in sustainability, and less advanced than initially thought. Assignments/ work were hard to find a rhythm to pace myself and expectations were unclear, causing unnecessary stress.

Dr. Wahl is nice. However, she was constantly changing things to the assignments she made which made the class difficult at times. She also didn't release the syllabus till day of class, which made things a little more confusing too. There were also times she wasn't able to explain terms when I'd ask.

Prof. Wahl is so kind and enthusiastic; she will work with you to solve any problem you have or give you advice. She is very energetic and loves when people ask questions. Her lectures can be boring & redundant; they cover the readings, so you really only need to skim. I read almost nothing and finished with a 98% Participate and she'll love you.

Pros: - Teacher is passionate about the class - Getting an A isn't going to be very hard if you want an A Cons: - For a 400 level class the material is disrespectfully basic - Colossal amount of busy work It can feel like she and her guest speakers think they are teaching children. Consistently the least valuable way I spend time each week.

She is genuinely one of the kindest and most passionate professors I have ever had. You can tell how much she loves her job and students with every interaction you have with her. It is easy to be engaged in her lectures and assignments. 100% recommend!!

One of the best professors I've ever had. She genuinely cares so much about her students and values their feedback. The main assignment is a group project over the semester. Literally just the kindest woman ever and genuinely wants to see everyone succeed.
