Kathyrn did a great job of teaching communicative disorders and provided a study guide for tests. I recommend attending classes because there are in-class activities for one. For two, she's a great lecturer with a tremendous background and specialized hands-on experience as an SLP herself.Rate My Professors ↗

Prof Basco is one of the sweetest and most caring profs ever! You can tell how deeply she cares for her field and the students. Textbook reading once a week with a homework that pairs with it. Exams were all multiple choice, open note & super easy. (If taking with honors, just two 5pg papers based on a book or movie). She's also a super easy grader

One of the best profs. Ive had at UW so far. She is incredibly helpful and understanding, especially during the pandemic. She is clearly an expert in her field and can answer almost any question you have related to CS+D. She cares about you and wants you to succeed.
