For her first time teaching I think she did an okay job. She's very passionate about chemistry which is nice to see, but I don't think she quite had a grip on how to put together exams as they were extremely long and difficult compared to other chem 104 classes. Overall if you study hard and do the homework her class is difficult but passable.Rate My Professors ↗

Chem is a hard topic to teach and Hilleke isnt the worst prof to have. Doing the practice exams and sample exams are a must to do well. Tests were very difficult and very long but not impossible, just close to it. If you are a good studier, you can do well.Rate My Professors ↗
Not my favorite professor ever, definitely not the worst. She's alright, she tells a lot of corny jokes during lecture but they're cute and fun so it lightens the mood. Her tests are hard, I had her in the power-lectures and she made her exams 75 minutes so it was a crunch.Rate My Professors ↗
AMAZING. She's very young and knowledgeable about her field and extremely relatable and has a good sense of humour, all of which she incorporates into her lectures. I don't think she ever said "um" once during a lecture: astounding public speaking skills. She explains concepts in detail and provides step by step guides to problem solving.Rate My Professors ↗
